For over twenty five
years ISB has operated under the simple principle -

and recovered property and have provided the evidence &
documentation for successful subrogation recoveries from
third party carriers and manufacturers.
ISB Investigations
have uncovered major theft rings and internal problems and have led to manufacturer recalls.
Over the years our focus has always been on our client's
interests but we have cooperated with prosecutions on request.

Proprietary
business management and reporting software created by Ed
McCabe operating on networked Macintosh computers, has,
for many years, given ISB an edge on other agencies - in

past assignment comparison, VIN verification by VINexpert,
automatic diary, invoicing & rebilling, payroll, client
history and entry of all 13 assignment specifies into a
permanent file which currently has over 35,600 entries (8/06).
We have a laser fax machine, networked HP color laser printers,
HP & and Epson scanners with
OCR & 35mm negative capabilities.
We own a Vericom VC2000 Decelerometer for testing braking capability
and the Vetronix Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) system with V3.0 software and 2 state of the art Genisys SPX OTC scan tools with the latest (07) 2.0 software.

Since 1986,
all ISB investigators have been required to produce reports
on their own computer - most using Automatech, a graphic-based application
created by Ed McCabe to facilitate narrative reporting of
over 430 Vehicle Specifics which an ISB investigator may
record during an vehicle inspection. All reports are reviewed
for content, grammar and clarity by Senior Investigators
before being printed on an HP Laser printer, archived in
text and pdf format and submitted by e-mail or fax and the
US post office. Laser copies of all enclosures become permanent
part of our hard copy archives along with negatives or CDs with digital images. Evidence
is logged and transferred to permanent storage at no cost
to the client.
ISB's Nextel
system allows instant access to field personnel.
ISB subscribes

review NHTSA databases and other online sources of data
on automotive fires & security systems. We also have

specifics.
